October ATC - "Queen of Hearts"

This month was all about choosing a character from Alice in Wonderland. I chose the queen of hearts, and really like how my version of her came out. Hope everyone likes it too; otherwise I will have to say "OFF WITH YOUR HEADS".......

September ATC - "Letters Part 2"

We have Part 2 of the alphabet letters. I got "P", so I went all the way to do pretty in pink, even though I am not a big fan of pink....but it did turned out good.

August ATC - "Letter"

This month theme was your name letter. So for me was "N". I looked into google to get unusual letters that start with N.....and went from there. It is a bit challenging, because your main object has to be that letter. Next month we keep going with letters, I was assigned the letter "P"...so we'll see what I can come up with.

I made this little book for a co-worker for her baby shower.
I'm hoping she likes it and after the baby is born, she can
fill all the pages with pictures so she can brag all she wants
about her baby boy. I used chipboard and the accordion style
binding for the pages. I wanted to be sturdy, so all the pages
are cut out from a thinner chipboard and then covered with
the papers. Inked all around so the actual color of the chipboard
would not show.

July ATC - "Self Portrait"

It was very difficult to think of something to represent a Self Portrait. I thought of color green (one of my favorites), flowers all over (love them), etc. Finally I decided to include a picture of me with some embellishments and words that reflect how I see myself and of course i had some room to include a flower and some color green as well. Can't wait to see what everyone else in the group is coming up with.

Mini Vacation Book

A friend at work went to Hawaii for her vacation in June. Her birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to give her something special. So I made her a little scrapbook, so she can put her pictures from her trip. I had a package of 6x6 refill pages, so I made the covers using cardboard and paper. Since I had 3 sheets of that floral paper, I used the extras to embellish the pages inside so is coordinated all over. I like to make this little books, because you don't use as much papers and they are quick to work on. I hope she likes it.

June ATC - "Celebrity Sightings"

Took several pics and collage them using picasa, resize to fit the wallet size picture, cut them out and compose the rest. the circles were cut using the cricut and believe it or not I use a small hole punch to punch the little holes to resemble film reels and the ribbon used is to resemble the film.
I'm really having a lot of fun doing the ATC's. I'm already thinking of what to do for July, is really challenging, self portrait.
