Bonus ATC for November

I have seen so many "Easel Cards" on different websites and really wanted to try it out. I did a small version of it using ATC dimensions. I think it did turn out really nice.

November ATC - "Favorite Scrappin'-Stamping Tool"

For me is Scissors...what can I say. I honestly think that no matter how many cool tools are out there, this simple one is the most useful and is good for everything.

X-mas Cards.....mmmm

Every year (oops, except for last year...because I was there) I make cards for my family and friends in Chile. Last year I bought a set of stamps from Stampin' Up with greetings in Spanish and after several days of difficult brainstorming (actually no activity at all up there....hahaha) I came up with this card. After deciding what to do, I realized that the blank cards I have purchase were 5"x 7" instead of the regular cards we all use most of the time so I just adjusted the measurements of my pieces. Since I couldn't find a christmas paper that I like, I stamped on the green using Versamark, stamped tiny motif on off white stripe with green and ink edges with brown, cut with decorative scissors the another piece, piece of left over stripe from like 2 years ago, and the wreaths were done using the Cricut Expression and did tiny bows and glue some red beads.

October ATC - "Candy"

What else could it be for the month of October.....of course ....candy. Even though I use some of the typical candy and colors for Halloween (orange) I went completely different for my background and I like the results. I paperpieced the candy corn lollypop and to give it a reallistic look I used ultra thick embossing powder on top to give it that shine. For the stick I used regular plastic straws cut in small pieces and split in have.
